Privacy policy
How WeScaler collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Last updated 21 October 2026
Who we are
WeScaler ("we", "us") runs www.wescaler.in and the WeScaler platform at dashboard.wescaler.in, which gives businesses AI calling, WhatsApp messaging, email outreach, a CRM and dashboards. Questions about this policy go to hello@wescaler.in.
Two roles
Our own data. For people who visit this site, book a demo or hold a WeScaler account, we decide how data is used. Under the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary.
Our clients' data. When a business uses WeScaler to call, message or track its own leads and customers, that business is the Data Fiduciary and we process the data on its instructions as a Data Processor. Contact that business first if one of its calls or messages reached you. We will help it respond.
What we collect
- Forms on this site: name, work phone, company, industry, plan and expected volume.
- Account data: name, work email, phone, company and billing details.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, and similar analytics.
- Client data we process: lead names and phone numbers, call recordings, transcripts, AI summaries, WhatsApp and email messages, and CRM records that our clients upload or create.
How we use it
- To call you back about a demo or sign-up you requested.
- To run, secure, bill and support the platform.
- To improve the site and product using aggregated usage data.
- To meet legal duties, including telecom (TRAI) rules and tax law.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use one client's lead data for another client.
Consent and calling rules
Clients must have a lawful basis, such as consent, to call or message their leads, and must follow TRAI's commercial communication rules, including DND preferences and DLT registration. Anyone can ask not to be called again. The request is logged and honoured.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help run WeScaler: cloud hosting, telephony and SMS carriers, Meta (WhatsApp Business API), email delivery, and speech and AI model providers that turn calls into text and replies. They act under contracts that limit use to providing the service. We also share data when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. If analytics is turned on, Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see which pages help. Browser settings can block or delete cookies.
How long we keep it
Demo and sign-up requests: up to 24 months, unless you become a client. Account data: while the account is active, then as long as tax and legal rules require. Client data, including recordings: for the period the client sets, and deleted or returned when the contract ends.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Access is limited to staff who need it, and accounts use role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to see a summary of your data, correct or update it, erase it, withdraw consent and nominate someone to act for you. Email hello@wescaler.in. We reply within 30 days.
Grievances
Write to our Grievance Officer at hello@wescaler.in with "Grievance" in the subject. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
WeScaler is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
We will post updates here and change the date above. Material changes will be emailed to account holders.
